About Us
Our History
The British Gorilla Foundation was established by Mark Treacy in 1992 to educate the word on and help preserve gorillas. We recognise that gorillas are unique, compassionate and intelligent animals who simply cannot be led to go extinct so we have made our mission to ensure that they will exist for ever. We work both in zoos and the wild and showcase the wonders of gorillas.
